 Yeah, kinda.. I haven't really looked at this place for ages now. So I think I'm gonna start doing that again. Just, well, FYI..

It's been a while since I updated my LJ, don't you agree?

Well, I've been on often, looked at the "post" button, but I've never felt like I had anything at all to share... today is also one of those times, I don't have anything to say, it's just that my feeling about having to update my LJ is stronger today than the other days, quite simply cause I don't have squat to do today, usually I end up playing AudioSurf, Guitar Hero III Mobile or even, sometimes Age of Conan...
Or just hang around furnet on IRC for that matter...

By the way, I only need the 150 000 score achievement on GH III Mobile and I'll have all the stuff I can have on that game, just got the 300 note streak on Rock You Like a Hurricane (Expert) (Yes, I'm slightly addicted to this game :P)

I got a new laptop today! =D
It's a couple of years newer than my old one, I think...
And I installed Ubuntu on it..

Specs, I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's not upgraded, but it's a 366MHz Pentium II processor, my old laptop is a 233MHz Pentium processor (Dell Latitude CP*something*)

So, yaay, I has Compaq Armada 1750 ^^

Also, I got the dock, so I have two very old notebooks with docks =3

Yesterday I (well... right after midnight today then, happy?) arrived at a small LAN-party, it's at a friend's house..
Anyway, we've all bough noodles for eating aside from the mandatory taco stuff once in a while... so, for the heck of it we bought these color thingies bakers use to add colors to all kinds of stuff.

So, every time one of us goes to the kitchen to make noodles everybody hangs over the oven, watching as the cook mixes colors to make the noodles look as horrible as possible :P

And to top it of we bought stuff to make our own soda, with color of course :P
The basic stuff to turn water into sod and then some favor and color. It's rather amusing, don't you agree? :3

Yes, today is the third Friday again, I was supposed to DJ tonight, but one of the pools there have been infected with some shit, they're trying to kill it and have closed that pool to the outside world, but I won't DJ tonight. Nor next week cause of the shift at the place... so next time will be in two weeks, at minimum..

So yay for that, I'm gonna stay home apparently, unless, well.. Gonna get some snacks probably, but that's out the subject..

Also I finished another Hardstyle mix in my spare time, not that It's such a big achievement since spare time is something I have had a lot of lately... :P

Aaand I did my first live mix yesterday.. (WOHOO!!) Started out with a few songs and added songs as needed (Yes, doesn't sound like a turntable mix where you start with 0 songs... right? Here you have the reason... ->) with MixMeister, beautiful piece of software IMO..
Ok, the youth of this nation is probably more into rap, metal and Idol winners... but that doesn't change the fact that I play for them, so they have to accept what's coming, they've even said they liked it... so HAH! in the face of society.. ;3

Aaand today is Halloween, so Happy Halloween everybody!! :D (I only wish I had a tail to wear today :P)

The last few day's I've done nothing, well, I've practiced on my dance pad, had a couple of showers... helped my dad with another car thingy and I've bought a few games... S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Collector's Edition, BioShock Collector's Edition and GuildWars Nightfall Collector's Edition and I've ordered new computer parts, 4GBs of HyperX RAM with CL4 latency and a 3.0GHz Intel Core2Extreme QX6850 Quad-Core processor...

I've also made sure to slam at my dad every time he says I need money the age I am, so I have to save money to do what I want by saying, yes, the 7k I save from the money I made last month and haven't already put away for using on computer parts is for saving to do what I want.. "But after that you wont have much money" no, of course I wont have much money, Norway is so f**king expensive that 3-5k wont give me more than a few nights out with friends and a couple of Collector's Edition games (right, since when, Norway is cheaper than you think, you just have to watch where you eat).. I don't know when he'll get that I want him to take his meaning and shove it up his ass cause I don't care about it, but whatever, parents do what parents do and the children ignore them when they're age 11 and up... I think he knows that..

Oh well, for anyone that wants to know, I'm Aikho Ursidae on the European 1 Role-play server on nightfall... and I'm on furnet as aikho ~all the time.. and of course, add me on your IMs, if you know my names :P you're free to try...

Yeah, basically, since I stopped working and since school haven't started just yet for me, I have a few activities I attend to so my life doesn't loose all meaning while I'm having a few weeks off..

1: My dance pad.

I bought a USB dance pad for my computer right before EF this year, arrived while EF were going on, so I could pull that out instead of whining to my teddy bear about how I didn't have enough money to go when I needed to make arrangements. I've also been pulling my dance pad out after EF about 2-5 times a week and I've been getting better ;3 I now fail 8-9 paw songs instead of 5-6 paw songs when I started :3

2: My bed.

I sleep a lot.. I think, I love sleeping ^^;

3: IRC and my IMs.

I spend a lot of time on-line, talking to people and browsing the web too for that matter, It also seems like I've lost my nerves about talking to english speaking people over Skype *blush* so if you're un-lucky enough to get my skype name there's a 90% chance I'll talk back if you're speaking english, instead of the 10% before :P

4: Music and games.

I have a lot of games and movies and last but not least, music.. and I listen to music a lot. I enjoy it and I try to produce some myself as well as make mixes I play at parties in the local public pool on some friday nights. It's enjoyable, at least for me, and the positive feedback I've got on the music for the guests at the "parties" makes it even more worthwhile.. Plus, I get money :3

Today I decided I should draw some... so at around 9 or something... I cleaned off my other desk, moved the computer things on it a little out to the sides and got my sketch pad and a pen and a pencil and of course, an eraser.. I've been doing some really bad, well, maybe not as bad as my first stuff, but I've been doing some toon-ish cat faces... and a few paws and stuff like that... not exactly any full character stuff yet... heehee *embarrassed face*

Maybe, some other time, if I feel I'm good enough, I'll upload some picture or something :3
(added the morning after)I also had a few Skype calls last night, one with Will Mofield and one with Lupine Furmen where I could show off my drawing as I did it, it was fun :3

I hate people acting before thinking, even though in some cases I can do it myself and I know that I'm doing it...

Anyway.. I were helping my dad earlier, polishing the oldest, no actually, second oldest car we have, cause we're selling it and some guy is gonna come look at it tomorrow.. And dad asks me, "Did you read the newspaper yesterday?" I never read the paper... Well, unless I'm at work, and work doesn't give me anything to do, then I let work be and I read the newspaper, cause that's actually more interesting than doing nothing when not having a computer to play around on, which I don't have at work.. Back on track.. I answered "No, I haven't read it, why?"
He said, "They shot the bears." I was like.. "What, bears..?", "Well, the bears in Namskogan" I got semi-shocked and didn't exactly get where he was going "What bears, the bears in the zoo there?" "Yeah"

Ok, enough with the quotes, it turns out they were actually killed, on purpose... So, there were a female and two cubs that had escaped a few weeks or something earlier, so they shot them, with live ammo.. Bears can be put down for a while with tranqs too... Why did they use actual ammo made for killing the animals? Because of that (I don't really know here but whatever) they don't have bears there anymore... or they have like, 1 male... but then... How do they get more bears there? Either they contact another zoo.. or they go into the forest, and TRANQ another bear or something and takes to the zoo... why couldn't they keep the bears they had? It would be just the same to tranq them and take them back and reinforce the fence (which they're going to have to do anyway) wouldn't it?

I'm gonna get something to drink and go to bed... probably won't remember this when I wake up, not cause I'm drunk, or will be, cause I'm not and soda doesn't contain alcohol... so...
